A weathered cabin in Michigan’s desolate upper peninsula. The photographer was attracted to the “YES” stenciled on the front door of the cabin, interestingly “Say YES to Michigan” is a marketing slogan of the state. Nevertheless, it speaks to optimism and hope amid seeming isolation.
